Description

QWS Water Testing Red Samplers ensure that your dental unit is continually producing the correct quality of water. We recommended you check your dental unit water every 3 months. Using these updated dry media samplers, you can perform an accurate in practice test and be given a quantitative reading of the level of chlorine stressed bacteria currently present in the water. Available as singles or packs of 10. dipslide, dipslides.

The pass level is equal to or less than 100 c.f.u. per ml. i.e. less than 100 dots! This is the current EU Drinking Water standard (EU Directive 98/83).

Technical Information:

The HPC Red Test Sampler contains m-HPC medium for recovery of aerobic bacteria, non stressed as well as stressed. Organism Appearance Colonies appear glistening and translucent or transparent. Colours vary from colourless to white, cream yellow or occasionally pigmented. Magnification of colonies is recommended. QC Organisms Sewage organisms from primary effluent water, E. aerogenes, E. coli, P. aeruginosa; Recovery.

Acquiring My Certificate

To receive your water quality certificate, please email your sampler results to csd@qwsonline.co.uk. You can use our audit sheet to log your results (See product download tab to download an audit sheet).

For validation we require the following information;

Alpron lot number – This is located on the base of the bottle.

Sampler Test Date – The date you completed the test.

Sampler Read Date – This should be 7 days after the test date.

C.F.U count – The number of dots on the paddle.

Please log all this information in the Audit sheet or in an email and send to csd@qwsonline.co.uk.
